Grace Community Bible Church was planted by Twin Cities Bible Church in Maplewood, Minnesota.
The first meetings of Grace Community Bible Church, led by Pastor Jeff and Pastor Don, took place in 2008 on Wednesday nights in a pole barn south of Lakeville, Minnesota.
Grace Community Bible Church was incorporated as a church under the state laws of Minnesota in March 2009. The charter congregation of 42 inaugural members held services at Minnesota Valley Church in Lakeville, where they celebrated their first official Sunday worship service, baptismal service, and charter right-hand of fellowship for members.
In the fall of 2012, Grace Community Bible Church ordained Pastor Dan Burrus. In August of 2015, Grace Community Bible Church was blessed to commission the first missionaries, Bobby and Danielle Harnist, to Austria. Grace Community Bible Church celebrated its 10-year anniversary in July 2019 with the local community.
