College & Career

…that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Colossians 1:9b-10

Our college and career group is a place for young men and women to be instructed in God’s Word for practical holiness, to encourage one another, serve in the church, and to learn more of the knowledge of God and applying practical principles of holiness to daily life.

College and Career welcomes those just out of high school to age 30, encouraging both married and single to join for mutual edification and a variety of fellowship and ministry opportunities. Occasional group get-togethers and fun events are planned for further community.

Our goal is to encourage singles and young married couples without children to glorify God by loving him and others with all their heart through the following opportunities: active service as the body of Christ, spiritual edification as disciples of Christ, and evangelization of those separated from Christ.

College and Career meets monthly for fellowship around God’s word with emphasis on world view, apologetics, and applications for being transparent in our walk with other Christian brothers and sisters. These studies move chapter by chapter through a specific book, offering study questions, practical teaching, and profitable discussion time.

If you have any questions in regards to our College and Career class, please reach out to Jeff Rich at jrich@gracelakeville.org. Please check the website home page or our events page for information on College and Career events.

We encourage our college and career brothers and sisters to make a routine habit of joining in with our rich adult ministries to learn, grow, connect, and pray as we all struggle to walk in a manner pleasing to Christ.
