Youth

Youth

Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

Deuteronomy 6:4-8

Sunday School

While we believe it is first and foremost the responsibility of the parents to teach their children from Scripture, we support parents in any way as they raise their children. Our children and youth Christian Education ministry exists to teach the children of Grace Community Bible Church the truth of the Scripture, which is able to lead them to salvation and allow them to become fruitful citizens in God’s Kingdom

Youth Christian Education takes place Sunday mornings at 9am. Every week begins with a group worship and a singing time that includes children of all ages and their teachers. Classes study various books of the Bible throughout the year, often going through a complete book start to finish as well as topical bible studies. If you have any questions regarding our different classes, want to know more about our curriculum, or have any general questions about our Teen and Children’s Education, please reach out to us.

Youth Nights

All youth between the age of 12 and 17 are welcome to join our monthly teen nights.

They take place in private homes or at church and are organized and supervised by adult members of Grace Community Bible Church.

Besides lots of different fun activities, games and snacks, youths also enjoy a short devotional time during these nights.

Please check our calendar for dates, times and locations.

Youth Camps

All youth between the age of 12 and 18 are welcome to join in these fun trips.

Youth camps take place once per year, usually in mid-summer in a campsite up North (near Duluth).

They are organized and supervised by staff and adult members of Grace Community Bible Church because we take the safety of our youth seriously. We have several safety measures in place for our activities addressing accountability, operational risk management, and emergency response. Permission and consent forms must be signed by parents.  We also have a modesty policy in place to encourage several behavioral guidelines for girls and boys.

Youth participate in devotionals, prayer, fellowship and fun activities such as hiking or swimming. They also gather around campfires and enjoy meals together.
