Scott Henderson

Scott grew up in Southern California attending church with his mother and sister, shaped by his mother’s steady and sincere faith. He professed faith in Christ at a young age and was baptized at eleven. In adulthood, the Lord used seasons of conviction to expose pride and spiritual complacency, leading Scott to renewed repentance and a deeper commitment to biblical leadership in his home. Through seasons of hardship, God strengthened his dependence on His grace and continued to refine his character.

Scott and his wife, Dawn, began attending Grace Community Bible Church after being drawn to its expositional preaching, reverent worship, and strong genuine fellowship. They soon became members and joyfully serve in a variety of ministries. Scott is involved in men’s ministry, small groups, and youth teaching. Dawn serves in several women’s and children’s ministries. Scott has three children.

Scott works in Product Management and IT and seeks to steward those skills in service to Christ and His church. He treasures early mornings of prayer and studying scripture, learning Greek, enjoys mountain biking and walks around the lake with Dawn, and reflecting on God’s glory revealed in creation.
