Jim grew up attending a Lutheran church on a weekly basis. After attending church sporadically in college and his early adult life, Jim was drawn to salvation in Jesus Christ in his mid-thirties.
After retiring as an Air Force veteran and consulting engineer, Jim is now pursuing biblical counseling and pastoral ministry. He serves as a Pastoral Assistant and Pastor-in-Training for Grace Community Bible Church where he has attended for 10 years serving in various leadership roles.
Jim is enriched by serving the church using his God-given leadership skills and experience and his sincere care for the body of Christ. Jim and his wife enjoy opening their home for grace groups, hosting new families for fellowship, coordinating support ministries, and reaching out to brothers and sisters in physical and spiritual need.
Jim resides in Lakeville MN with his wife Kimberly and their four children. Kimberly stepped back from the medical profession and business ownership to raise and homeschool their two boys. The children are involved in Christian schools, homeschool cooperatives, and community athletics. The family likes to spend time on outdoor adventures and camping.
