Scott Olson

Scott Olson

Scott grew up on a farm in rural Iowa and attended an evangelical church there. While living a good life according to the world’s standard it was not until an Easter Sunday service when Scott was 20 years old that the Holy Spirit convicted him of his sin and need to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. Since that day Scott has continually grown in his faith, understanding of Scripture, and desire to live a life that honors the Lord.

Scott has been given a heart for discipleship. For many years Scott has led small groups, teaching the fundamentals of the Christian faith and encouraging people in their walk with Christ. He also enjoys leading Bible studies in the church and community.

Scott and his wife, Karin, have three children. As a family they enjoy attending and serving in the local church. One of the favorite topics of conversation at the dinner table with the family is theology. As a father Scott seeks to lead his family in loving God’s Word, understanding it, and living it out in their daily lives. Scott has spent more than 30 years working in the IT industry. He currently leads an IT and cybersecurity team. Karin has home-schooled all three of their children, with the oldest now attending college.
