Learn

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Colossians 3:16

We strive to equip and educate God’s people for service by training the mind and stirring affections toward God. Adult Christian Education desires to exhort, teach, and encourage believers to set their hearts on the Word, to learn how to be doers of the Word in daily living, and to be equipped to go forth and share the principles and precepts of the Word. Whether you are a new believer or have been walking with the Lord for many years, at Grace Community Bible Church we offer classes and groups for all interests and ages.

Christian Education Hour

The goal of this large group class is to equip believers to become more Christ-like and make disciples according to Matthew 28:18-20. It is an informal time that allows you to meet others and ask questions regarding a variety of subjects. The format varies from expositional studies, testimonies, missionary presentations, special topical studies, guest speakers, and video presentations.

While some classes are taught by pastors, others are taught by elder-appointed men of Grace Community Bible Church who are well-versed in the topics they present. All of our teachers are dedicated to biblically sound teaching.

Bible Studies

Another setting to dig deeper into the Word of God is to study in small groups. Bible studies aim to encourage men and women through the study and discussion of the Bible and Christian books that are relevant to growth in holiness and the pursuit of godliness in daily Christian life. The whole group travels chapter by chapter through the selected material, followed by small group discussion, prayer, fellowship and accountability.

When: Various times and days of the week are offered. Bible studies meet twice per month.

Where: Various locations including private homes and at the church

Who: Adults of all ages are welcome to join

What: Each year a specific book of the Bible is studied
